Tamra is grateful to have grown up surrounded by loving family and friends in the Sierra Nevada foothills. She and her husband have raised six beautiful children in the surrounding area, with each year bringing greater joy and fulfillment from their continued growth and maturity.

A valedictorian of Nevada Union High School, Tamra went on to study at Brigham Young University before realizing her ultimate dream of becoming a wife and mother. While she never had the opportunity to enter a formal music program, Tamra feels abundantly blessed to have been surrounded by mentors and teachers throughout her life who inspired and encouraged her to develop her gifts as a pianist, choral musician, and composer.
